1970 N-Code Challenger RT/SE with an upgraded 440-6 pack engine and steel shaker hood and shaker air cleaner!
Here we have a really nice Challenger RT/SE, 1970 model. Which means it's a road and track version and a special edition together. This car has the special RT suspension, badges, and options, as well as the Special taillight panel, smaller rear window leather seats, and a very clean headliner with an overhead console! You don't see them often as they are very rare, but we really like the SE optioned Challengers because all of this is just very luxurious and smooth to see all this together on this Challenger!
Original: This car is a 383-N Code Car, but they have upgraded the car with a 1969 440-6 pack engine with a Holley 6 pack setup. The complete engine has been dyno-tested lately and has 360 HP on the rear wheels. If you take 30% slip on the engine, that means the engine produces a stunning 470 HP! The engine Is equipped with a TTI ceramic-coated header and full exhaust system, which makes a very clean and progressive v8 sound. The transmission is a 727 Automatic version with 3 gearing that shifts very cleanly and smoothly. The rear axle is an 8 3/4 axle with street gearing, so you can cruise around relaxed.
The RT/SE optioned Challengers came with a Rally Dash with wood grain finishing, and on the door panels you see a wood grain panel with '' Special Edition'' written very beautifully. Also, the headliner is an Alcantara dressed up 1 piece and has an overhead console with three lights in there, like low fuel and a warning light for the belts and door Ajar. The bucket seats are dressed with Leather seat covers and are still original; the complete interior is very clean and original; the console and shifter are in good condition; the glass is in good shape; and the gauges are looking good too. Overall, a very clean and good car!
