New for sale: Dodge Challenger RT 440 4-speed, completely restored at PTTM!

The car
This Dodge Challenger RT 440 is completely restored and in concourse condition. This car has been completely disassembled and had an acid-dipping bath to remove all the rust. After this, the car was nut-and-bolt restored from the ground up. As you can see in the pictures, we can provide you with more details on request. We have every step of the way on camera to prove to you that this car has been 100% restored, and it has been done by our people at Pedal to the metal. After the full restoration was completed, our client kept the car for a few years in his collection and drove it for the first 800 miles.

Restoration process
The car has undergone a full-blown restoration, was taken apart, and every nut and bolt has been inspected and replaced. It has also undergone body work and had an acid-dipping bath, as said above. This is so that every bit of rust left behind in the bodywork process is gone and that the car is 100% clean of rust to start the buildup process. The car received an amazing plum crazy purple paint job and a new white vinyl roof (the combination looks just amazing, in our opinion). It also received a new interior in, of course, white. And the car

RT
RT stands for Road & Track and is an upgrade package provided by Dodge. It gave the car upgraded suspension, tires, brakes, and often more powerful engines. It was also possible to get more variation in paint and striping, and sometimes a more aggressive body kit.

440 big blocks
The 440 cu in (7.2 L) RB was produced from 1965 until 1978, making it the last version of the Chrysler RB block. It had a light wall construction, precision cast-iron block with iron heads and a bore of 4.32 in (109.7 mm), for an overall displacement of 440 cu in (7.2 L) From 1967 to 1971, the high-performance version was rated at 375 bhp (380 PS; 280 kW) (370 bhp (375 PS; 276 kW) in 1971) at 4,600 rpm and 480 lb⋅ft (651 N⋅m) at 3,200 rpm of torque with a single 4-barrel carburetor.

This car is probably one of the finest Challenger 440 RT money can buy. It runs perfectly since it has been maintained by us, and it also looks like it just came from the dealer in 1970. And the paint in combination with its white vinyl roof is just perfect, in our opinion!

This engine was professionally rebuilt by our engine rebuilding facility in-house. It is built with the best parts, comes with a blueprint of all the parts and measurements, and comes with a first-test session video on our test bench. This engine is completely overhauled, with all internals new, and is built with the most date-correct parts.

Mopar A883 4-speed transmission and Dana 60 rear axle
Our transmission department completely overhauls the transmission. We installed all new bearings and new gear where it was necessary, and it was painted in the correct color, so it's all looking correct. This transmission is shifting through a Hurst shifter that we also overhauled. And it is shifting perfectly. The Dana 60 rear axle that came original with the 440 & 4-speed combination is rebuilt with new gears and bearings and a complete new differential.

Important features:

- The car comes with a complete album of pictures and video's of the restoration
- The car has its original stamped sequence number in the front radiator support and upper cowl panel
- Original California car

The car comes with a Dutch registration.
