The Car:
In the middle of 1968 the Cobra Jet 428 engine became available and was used for the first time in a Shelby in the King of the Road version. The 428 Cobra jet is the best of both 428 PI and 427 Side oiler engines together, which means a lot of torque and horsepower together, which makes itthe perfect engine! this engine is original to the car and comes with the original, date-correct carburetor and 4-speed transmission with the RUG tag on it! This car was found in the USA by an owner who is around 80 years old and bought the car new at the dealer. The lease/loan contract is also included in the sale; all the history documents are there, and even the build sheet is there! This is unique for an all-original survivor car from 1th owner! A 4-speed and an original Raven Black car are very rare! And the nicest to have for 68!
