AMC was a motor company that started all the way back in 1900, where Nash started his first motor company after buying a bicycle company and turned it around where he started to produce his first car under the name Rambler. Later the company fused with another company in 1914 where it was called Nash motor company. In 1954 the company fused again and it became AMC. Where it competes with the big three.
