The 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Hertz, often known as the “Rent-A-Racer,” holds a significant place in automotive history as an iconic vehicle. In the mid-1960s, Hertz, a prominent car rental company, aimed to offer a distinctive experience to its clientele and attract more enthusiasts. Seeking to fulfill this goal, they enlisted Carroll Shelby's expertise to create a special variant of the Mustang for their rental fleet, thus giving rise to the GT350H.
