1969 Dodge Charger RTSE Hemi 840HP & Tremec 6 speed & Dana 60.
Yes, that is a mouth full! But look at this car and engine, its a long time ago we saw a car like this in our inventory. This engine alone cost a fortune and then installed in a real XS coded Charger RT/SE with a lot of factory options. And is made in a pro touring with all his upgraded like new Tremec 6-speed and Currie Dana 60 bulletproof rear axle, it's a unicorn and a beast!
All this is based on the 1969 charger RT/SE with original the 440 engine, now converted to a Hemi engine. This car is original a Californian car, we still have an old title to prove that, and the car is shipped long time ago to Finland where the car was in a private collection of one of our clients. There it received a full upgrade to be a real pro touring and fast car, all the information of the build is known and is included with the car. The paint is looking good and fresh, and is professional detailed by our shop. The undercarriage of this car is upgraded with new and better Disc brakes and the Body is made stronger with his Subframe connectors installed, to handle the performance. The Interior is in nice shape and is still carrying his SE (Special Edition) features like the Woodgrain Dashpanels and some other high level trim items. The Engine of this Charger is so big that they needed to build a full steel custom Cowl Hood to make room for the Aircleaner and Carburetor. The Hood is equipped with some Gauges where you can read off the most important readings.
The HEMI is build out of a full aluminum 572 CID Keith Black Short block with aluminum Stage V heads and Stage V Roller Rockers and Mopar Performance valve covers. The compression ratio is build to 10.55 the camshaft is a special order Schneider Racing Cam Mechanical roller version and 3/8 Trick flow Push rods. The Crankshaft is a Scat Stroker kit for 572 Hemi with Clevite Bearings & High Perfomance Gaskets & ARP Studs to build this beast. The Engine is Dyno tested with a maximum output of 840HP & 1050NM Torgue what is a lot. But with the 6-speed and good axle combination you can drive this car easily, but when you step on the Throttle it will blow your mind! It's unique to have a full aluminum race HEMI, normally they will one being made for drag race teams and not sold to private persons, this setup would cost today around 60/70K. The Engine is running through a Custom made Ray Barton Intake & has a Holley Dominator 1050 CFM Carb that is perfectly tuned!
Transmission & Axle Combination:
There is a new Tremec 6-speed installed in this car with a dual friction Clutch from the brand MC Leod RXT Ceramic that can hold up to 1000HP, so that will hold it perfectly. The Dana 60 Rear axle that is build by Currie is equipped with a 3:54 axle combination that is perfect for cruising around the city and highway, the Driveshaft in between is custom-made from Chrome Moly steel and equipped with the best joints to connect it.
The engine is breathing his performance out of the TTI Headers, these are the best you can get for a Mopar, and the rest of the Exhaust system is also TTI performance exhaust systems that fits the car perfect!
