The car

The 1966 was the first year of the famous Dodge Charger. Sporting many engine options to suit all budgets, this could be anywhere from a comfortable cruiser to a mighty muscle car. The 383 and 426 HEMI engine options were considered part of the "muscle" cult. The other variants, with less cubic inches and thus horsepower, were more budget-friendly, but slower and less attractive overall. This particular model we are currently offering for sale is fitted with the 383 big-block engine, which was rated at 7.2 seconds for the 0-60 mph/0-100 kmh, making it a fast vehicle, even by today's standards. Not to mention that the car is almost 60 years old.

The car is a pleasurable driver. Although not in concourse or mint condition, it is still a highly enjoyable and desirable muscle car which will instantly put a smile on your face.

Interior

The interior of this 1966 Charger is in particularly good condition, with working electroluminescent lighting in the dashboard, which is a specific feature for the 1966 and 1967 Chrysler vehicles. All 4 seats, front and rear, are in good condition, without tears or heavy use marks. The fold-down rear seats work as they should, and the interior appears to be mostly original.
